 Pertec to Compact Flash Disk Solution

A Virtual Pertec Emulation using Compact Flash cards
  • Emulates a 1600 or 6250 bpi @ 50 ips Pertec tape drive.
  • Start/stop and streaming modes and on-the-fly commands are supported.
  • The PCB is mounted in a small enclosure with universal power supply unit.
  • Pertec connectors are at the rear.
  • Solid State Pertec Tape drive.
  • The Pertec2Flash enclosure emulates a standard Pertec Tape drive to a Host. 
  • It has a Pertec interface on one side and a Compact Flash card on the other.
  • It allows data to be written and retrieved to a Compact Flash (CF) card.
  • The CF card can then be removed as if it were a regular tape.

  • Plug & Play replacement for ageing RS3 SCSI disks & SCSI tape drives.
  • A Tape drive & Disk drive with no moving parts.
  • Uses standard Compact Flash (CF) cards.
  • Standard 3.5” form factor (DISK)
  • Standard 5.25” form factor (TAPE) CF card can be removed, and the data backed-up to a windows PC.
  • The same data can be copied back from Windows to a new CF card which can then be inserted back into the SCSICFDISK.

RWZ01 & RZ23 /RZ28 RZ29 SCSI Flash Disk for Vax& uVAx systems 

DEC/VAX and UVAX Emulation using Compact Flash cards
• SCSI solid state disk that uses an industry standard Compact Flash (CF Card) as its storage.
• The 3.5” form factor. It requires 5V only which is supplied via a
standard disk power connector.
• Standard SCSI2 interface. SCSI2 transfer rates of (up to) 10 Mbytes/sec.
• Disk capacities only limited by current CF cards (currently 32 GB)
• No moving parts. Overcome the reliability problems of ageing hard disks.
• The SCSI Flash Disk can be configured to emulate & replace those hard-to-find SCSI disks, or MO drives, or Floppy drives for legacy systems.
• Data is stored on a Compact Flash which can be easily removed.
• The CF card can then be plugged into a PC and the data archived.
• Low Power, 5V only less than 400Ma.
